On 2 October 2022, the sports and cultural association “NEUER START“, with the support of the fairplay initiative (“Our game for human rights”) and the ASKÖ, organized a volleyball tournament for the 8th time under the motto #ServeAgainstExtremism as part of the European Week of Sport. A total of 12 teams from different nations such as Ukraine, Afghanistan, Chechnya, the Philippines and Austria played against each other. Unfortunately, the number of participating teams was limited due to the capacity of the sports hall.
Among the participants were also Ukrainian teams who played in the national league in their home country – all in all a very successful volleyball festival!
